My Dyslexia Journey

Learn about my Dyslexia journey!

This blog is dedicated to sharing my journey as I fight, struggle, and succeed through school, legal battles, and life as a 22-year-old Dyslexic person. My passionate family is on this journey with me, and shares my desire to educate, change, and advocate for better learning opportunities and support for students across Ontario and the country with Dyslexia in the public school system.

From fighting for proper accommodations in Ontario public schools while I was failing classes and teachers and staff treating me as if I was stupid, to attending a world-class boarding school, graduating with honours, and a University degree in Psychology under my belt I was told I would never get this far by my high school teachers. Unfortunately, my story is not unique, this is the story of many individuals who like me, are Dyslexic and face off against the harmful misconceptions of having a learning disability and face unnecessary barriers in their education.

Welcome to my Dyslexia Journey

This space is designed for my family and me to share stories from hardships, rock-bottoms, and mountain highs.
